Happy Anniversary!

Savage Chickens is one year old! A big thank-you to all of you for coming back again and again. Thanks for the great comments, wonderful emails, and words of encouragement.

It’s been a rewarding year for me - I feel like I’m getting my cartooning mojo back. The cartoons have come a long way in a year. Here’s a side-by-side comparison of the first scruffy-looking cartoon and one from this month:

Animals eaten by snakes are always hilarious. Though I’m a relatively new fan I know that one would make my top ten.

Wow! A whole year! Happy Anniversary! I really wish I could have been here 1 year ago, but i guess that’s why you got archives :)! May the chickens never end up in someone’s pot (or have lots of people afraid of them because of a flu).

Happy Anniversary and Congratulations! As a token of my appreciation of your efforts, I fed the chickens, and they didn’t even peck me! My donation should cover a 12 pack of Post-it(R) notes, so that should keep you going for at least another couple of years.

My personal favorite is the understated Impulse Buy.
BTW, I would definitely bid on a framed and autographed original chickens note.

Please keep ‘em coming, because otherwise I wouldn’t know what to do with the free time I have between doing the laundry and dishes, except maybe write some haiku.
