    Surely it would be cheaper to hire two chickens as opposed to spending all the budget on using special effects to create the image of two.

    Even if they have sub-par acting ability a good director can bring out the best in them.

    Don’t forget the cost of the special effects to make the chicken look like tofu or the robot!

    You mean the chicken on the right isn’t an evil twin, identified only by a hideous scar that we can’t see on the right side of his face? Curses!
