I’m wavering between grim and cynical today. Sweet comic. =)
Perfect!!
I am insanely grim.
This is great
Wow, that pretty much covers it. I sat here for 5 minutes trying to think of another, witty one, but couldn’t. Funny how the really happy one is insane.
(Warning: Cynicism levels approaching critical…)
Nice one, Doug.
AH-HAHAHAHAHA….I am somewhere near the bottom, but I have waaay to many friends that are at the top.
I was looking for a metric conversion table….
my husband wants a poster of this one for his office.
Somedays, I alternate between “Life Sucks” and “Life’s Awesome” on an hourly basis. Sometimes on a minutely basis! (is “minutely” a word? it is now!)
Haha I have those ups and downs several times in the same day.
Hmm… Life might feel different all the time, but the Chicken remains the same…
Life may be grim, but Chickens are awesome, and I’m not insane for saying that!
Doug, I would sooo love a poster or a mousepad or a mug or a t-shirt or anything really that would allow me to get my hands on this awesome cartoon! Pretty please!
How about a poster that includes a slider so you can indicate your position on the scale each day? Or something magnetic with stickers?
That way, cow-orkers will know whether it is safe to talk to you or not.
hey i really like this poster idea! but for starters, here’s a mug.
Doug: The coffee mug is perfect “product placement” for this (PROD would be proud!), as the level of coffee in the mug directly affects my outlook. I’m sure I’m not the only one whose optimism can be measured in milligrams per liter. Except on those days when someone slips us DECAF, of course…
I would say you mix the poster idea and the coffee mug together.
Put a clear part of the mug, so that you can tell how much coffee is left in your cup, and approximately how your outlook on life should be accordingly.
i am grim
LIFE IS AWESOME!
Tom Cruise = insane?
For a measuring coffee mug like Tyler Jarvis suggested, it would have to be flip-flopped as you turn to the “Life Sucks” when you have less coffee or something.
