Another day off for the chickens! I know what happened, the cold weather has arrived and they have all flown south for the winter, or perhaps they took a cab?

I feel left out cos I don’t know the reference…that doesn’t usually happen, Doug. Either there’s some deficiency in my reading (or maybe film?) experience or this is just too obscure.

I MISS MY CHICKENS!
In the UK back around the seventies there was an advertising slogan “say it with flowers”. This naturally produced a badge (button to you colonials) “I said it with flowers:I gave her a triffid”.
Loved this one, do chickens hibernate for the winter in the USA?
