   I loved this cartoon - and was going to share it with my students (I teach English)…except, those are not metaphors - they’re similes!

   Love can be like a Vacuum cleaner.

   On the other hand:
   Love can be like a disney starlet: sweet, wholesome, and saccharine - until you find the naughty pictures.
