   I didn’t get to say it the other day, but HAPPY ANNIVERSARY! I’ve been reading your comic and posting them around the office for the last three years as subtle commentary. And this year, I gave everyone in my department Savage Chickens mugs. SC is my “Dilbert.” Thanks!

   This is a very sad cartoon! Maybe I’m reading something other than what was intended, but isn’t it a realistic view? We have to say goodbye to our environment?

    When I first moved to Norway, I was pleasantly amused to discover a sign advertising the services of a “Trehogger”.
    The sign helpfully included a picture of the honest worker in question, from which - thanks to the axe over his shoulder - it could clearly be inferred that “Tree hacker” would probably be a reasonable translation, despite the superficial initial resemblance to tree-hugger.
