Beam…me up…Scotty.
I do not know…karate.
(Shatner had trouble remembering the lines…so the pauses bought him time to remember.)
Today is that little known holiday:
Respect for Chickens Day
Enjoy!
ARGH! IT’S STAR TREK EVERYWHERE! Even my chickens betray me!
An apocryphal quote describes Shatner’s peculiar expressive aprosodia: “He spoke as if he were fastening each word down with a thumbtack”.
poets like to be doted upon.
That’s what happens to your voice after spending too much time savoring the smell of your own farts.
Ah, Shatner’s voice… I’m hoping that Chris Pine pulls it off in the new Star Trek movie.
BWAHAHAHAHAH!!!! As a poet myself… guilty!
I call it “savoring the words.”
I love how super cross-eyed the poet chicken in the first frame is. I KNEW that seemed Shatner-ish. XD
