@steve:
Unicorns usually travel in pairs, and occasionally larger groups as well. Thus they technically eat the food off another’s horn. Horses have retained this inbred technique, though it has devolved into more of a nuzzling maneuver.

As it’s Oktoberfest-time in Germany, you should not forget “Steckerlfish”! (Take a look)
Btw any chance for a Oktoberfest-themed cartoon this year?

Obviously their sugar filled diet results for their unbearably cheery reputation…and apparent disinclination to make both of their eyes focus in the same direction.
it is common knowledge that unicorns do enjoy the odd kebab or two, but how does he eat them? does the unicorn have some un-naturally long tongue?
where does your inspiration come from Doug?
thanks again, you make my day.
: )
What? No roasted chicken?

=D I love these comics, thanks Mr. Savage!
everyone knows unicorns eat grass. i see them at night grazing in the park. sometimes they talk to owls. they also like to ride the merry-go-round.
They eat marshmallows!! But… but… I heard that unicorns poop marshmallows!
Did Doug recently attend the fair? And go for a ride on the carousel after eating some fair fare?
Brilliant…although the unicorn looks like it doesn’t have a clue as to why all that food keeps appearing on its horn. Magic, remember…?
@ steve:
And if Justin’s reasoning doesn’t work for you, an episode of Charlie the Unicorn on YouTube matches one of your questions.
Great as always, Doug!
