huh?
that would ad a new twist to an episode of Batman
: )
Shouldn’t that be “Sorry, eh!” ????
We actually have a Canadian Ultimate Fighting League – it’s called the NHL
LOL!
Ha Ha!
I can sooo se this happening in Ireland…
HAHAHA!!
It’s so true!
Jay (from Ottawa, Ontario, Canada… eh?)
Sorry. [from Canada, eh]
I, um, politely have to inform you that “Sorry, eh” is only in Eastern Canada, specifically Ontario and Quebec. I certainly never heard anyone say “eh” until I moved there.
(Just like “y’all” is only common in one part of the USA.)
My humble apologies for correcting you.
You may now return to the fight.
i LOVE canadians!
and afterwards, they clean up after themselves.
@belphebe – I have no clue who you were talking to before moving east, but I’ve heard plenty of people out west use the good old Canadian “eh”! Sorry to argue with your correction.
That’s awesome! made my day up here.
People say eh from coast to coast, but “Sorry, eh?” isn’t common. Not that you’d never hear it.
In any event, I laughed out loud at this comic. I used to play hockey and we would say sorry to one another after knocking people down. The comic is true.
what’s all this ‘sorry eh?’ about? i miss so much being here in little old england.
: (
the candian guy that sits across from me said that canadians say “you bet ‘ch!” a lot, though he doesn’t say why
: )
I lol’d at this so hard, cause I can actually see it happening XD
as for the ‘eh?’, I haven’t heard alot of ontarians use that term alot (even being from Toronto), but I hear Newfies use it alot, my neighbour uses it to finish off a sentence while talking, eh?
