Creating the Work You Want
Next Tuesday, October 25, from 12 PM to 1 PM, I’ll be a guest speaker at a UBC Continuing Studies lunch-hour session called “Creating the Work You Want”. If you live in Vancouver, BC, and you’re thinking about pursuing a more creative career, then go sign up for the session! It’s an educational session about exploring your creativity and finding work that is more meaningful, and I’ll be talking about how I ended up becoming a cartoonist. The session is FREE and you can sign up here: UBC Continuing Studies (seating is limited, so register soon!)
And if you want to chat, I’ll probably hang around for a while after the session too!

Sounds like a seminar I should attend, unfortunately this kansas boy doesn’t have the budget or time to trek up north
I’m in Texas. I won’t be making it to the conference, either. Too bad; it sounds like it would be a fun one to attend.
It sounds fabulous, but unfortunately I live in the little office boxes during that time. Any chance it could be recorded and we could see it later? Or just transcribed?
I don’t think they’re planning to record it, but I’ll find out, Renee!
or offer a webinar – pls let us know.
Let me see…
1. Develop an offbeat sense of humor that’s charming and inoffensive
2. Learn to draw
3. Buy a whole lot of sticky notes.
Did I miss anything?
WHOA! I go to UBC! Except the event is at Robson Square downtown and I can’t trek all the way there from main campus T_T
I’d love to see a webcast or recording/transcription of the seminar.
Okay, I’d really love to see the talk live, but seeing as I live in Ottawa…
Please post if it is recorded. Or you could put one of those ubiquitous recording devices (aka cell phones) in your pocket and record it
