The last day of February is the last day of summer in Australia. Maybe the guy who made leap years was from the Southern Hemisphere ๐Ÿ™‚

To be fair, at least for us in Texas, this February has been pretty nice. Today it’s 66 degrees with a slight breeze. I’ll take a day like today.

But in principle, I agree. Years like this are the exception rather than the rule.

It’s got to be in the summer… Feb is no good especially on the wet coast! (It is miserable today!) I vote for June 31st!

I figure it’s just my company can get an extra day of work out of me without having to pay me. But I’m on them and not doing anything productive today at all.

    As usual.

“For some *ridiculous* reason, … some person in authority … has decided that, although for such a BEASTLY month as February, twenty-eight days as a rule are plenty,
One year in every four his days shall be reckoned as nine and twenty.”
