I have to agree. Anyone wanna borrow my "Little House on the Prairie" box set?
This is generally a very true phenomenon except for the 90's sitcoms - or maybe this is because it's not long enough yet in the past for us to cringe at the hairdo and the dialogue and the clothes, etc.
Anyway, I wanted to say loudly that I ABSOLUTELY LOVE FRIENDS RE-RUNS!!!!!!!!! They actually get better with time... hopefully they still do in another ten years' time...
That is exactly why when I received the Dukes OF Hazzard boxed set I returned it unopened.
I loved that show, and don't want to ruin it by trying to watch it now that I'm grown up.
Classic Battlestar Galactica's another example. I've never seen so many recycled scenes in one show. When you're 5 you usually don't notice that kind of thing, but wow, it's depressing to watch now. :p
