Finnish edition of Savage Chickens bookThere was such a great response to the Finnish book contest that I decided to give away two signed copies instead of just one. And the winners are…

Ryan E. and Shane A.

Congratulations! I’ll be in touch with you both to get your mailing addresses. Thanks to everybody who entered the contest!

Finnish edition of Savage Chickens bookThe fine folks at Perigee Books sent me some copies of the Finnish-language edition of Savage Chickens: A Survival Kit for Life in the Coop, so I’m going to give away a signed copy!

To enter, leave a comment on this post, or send me a note via my contact page. I’ll choose a random winner on Saturday September 8. (Please enter only if you can actually read Finnish!)

This is the first time I’ve had a chance to see the inside of the Finnish edition and it looks great. I’m particularly amazed by how closely they matched my hand-drawn lettering. Fantastic work, Gummerus!

If you don’t win, you can still buy it online. And there’s always the English and German versions, for you non-Finnish types.

Finnish edition of Savage Chickens bookA Finnish-language edition of Savage Chickens: A Survival Kit for Life in the Coop is now available! Translated and published by Gummerus, you can buy it at fine bookstores all over Finland, or buy it online.

Can’t speak Finnish? Then get the English version! Or wait for the German edition, which comes out in a couple of weeks. It’s very exciting for me to see my book in different languages, and as an added bonus the translated covers are teaching me how to say “Augh!” in different languages. I’ll be sure to post some photos as soon as I get my copies of the translated editions.

Update: Here’s a larger picture of the cover.
