Hmmm, is this supposed to be a wild, comic exaggeration of the aims and ethics of American Big Business? Hope not, because it seems to me instead to be a totally accurate reflection of the reality of capitalism
So many times I have wished my company, or any company, would make that their mission statement. At then they would be honest. If they wanted to say "Our mission is to make money. We will do that by surpassing customer requirements and producing quality products. But make no mistake about it, we're all about the money.", then I would have a lot more respect for them.
i completely agree with whiznat. this is exactly what i always say when i attend my company's big meetings. (i only go because of the free food and booze.) if you're going to be ruthless, mercenary, and greedy, at least admit it publicly.
I think that is the most honest mission statement i've ever heard (And if you read between the line's of most companies you can always tell its what they really mean!)
