My dad bought an Oldsmobile station wagon in the 80’s that came with a mix tape (from the dealership) and THAT song was on it. I can’t tell you how haunting it was to read this, and simultaneously hear the song in my head. I could almost smell the leather interior, and feel my legs bend awkwardly, and feel my feet not quite reach the floor in the backseat of that old car…
