This week, I’m still in Halifax. So it seemed like the ideal time to have my first ever Guest Cartoonist Week here on Savage Chickens! And it kicks off today with a fellow Vancouver artist whose work I’ve admired for a long time, Jason Turner!
Jason is a comics-making machine. You might know him for his comic True Loves, or Farm School, or his bird comics or one of his other bazillion projects. Go read his stuff!!
Chris Hallbeck, creator of The Book of Biff, invited me to do another guest comic!
Last time, I drew a guest comic on a post-it note; this time I thought it would be fun to try something closer to Chris’s style. Here’s my guest comic!
And while you’re there, take a look at Chris’s hilarious archives – he’s got tons and tons of great stuff!
Klara Woldenga, creator of Robot Comics, is in the middle of exams so I’m helping out by drawing a guest comic for her this week. I had a lot of fun drawing in her style and using colour (a rare thing for me!)
Anyway, here’s my guest comic – and while you’re there, be sure to check out the rest of Klara’s excellent comics!
One of my chickens makes a guest appearance on Woody After Hours today. Go check it out! And you can catch up on three years’ worth of their comics while you’re at it. Woody After Hours is written by Ben Carter and illustrated by Paul Westover. Thanks to them both for inviting me to stop by their comic for a cameo!
