   Uh oh. It’s a widely-known, well-established fact that when you lose your sense of impending doom,
   something really terrible is about to happen.

   heheh ya except with American Idol, the sense of doom is immediate instead of impending

   I believe that the impending doom sense is just handed around amoungst society. One chicken’s doom is another chicken’s triumph.
