   Cacti have never been known to be very sensitive. I blame the lack of world peace on them.

   I have to agree with you, world peace (or more like the lack of it) is due to cacti all around the worl who grew needles just so nobody will hug them. ^^

   The eye half shut in panel 3 is one of the subtle touches that really sells it! Nice job!

   Nice! The cactus is like all the prickly people in the world who don’t want anyone to reach out and touch them. Doug, I love how your deceptively simple cartoons are so insightful. (And also how they make me ROTFL!!)
