The best term is “possibility” because it’s neutral. Does not mean the “challenge” will pay off. This way the manager is off the hook even if he squandered the company’s money.

i love how my husband finds work for me to do.
I like how the chicken’s eyes are slightly glazed over as though he doesn’t even believe what he’s saying.
But you gave it away Doug, ‘cos the poor chicken looks like he’s either possessed or having a seizure. Maybe both, with all that jargon!
