If you changed it to “no matter what time they leave work, act like they’re slacking off” then it’d be more accurate. All the bosses I know get in at 11am, and never leave.

As an employee I do it the other way around.
No matter how late I start, I act like was in time. And then I go to my workplace and comment on internet cartoons.
I always make it a point to use the bathroom on the clock as often as possible.

OMG — That is so my boss! Although I have not taken a day of vacation the whole year, and do the work of two, I get called on the carpet because I come in at 9:10 a couple of mornings.
