I’m like this with cricket, minus the excitement. I do find Aus Rules oddly intriguing however, and ended up watching enough of it to even learn what the rules are

Ah! It’s like you’ve read my mind! Except I finally broke down after watching two or three full games and got on wikipedia to find out what exactly the rules were. And to figure out what kind of shoes they wear to not fall on their butts on the ice.
YES! I love curling! I want to learn how but there’s only one club here in Montana.
I do understand the rules! It’s one of the few games that I’d be willing to play, if it wasn’t for all the sweeping. I don’t even sweep my floors; why would I want to sweep ice?

Tip: ice dancing is hilarious if you can turn your DVR playback up to 1.5x or 2x speed.

My thoughts exactly. I don’t understand the rules at all, I just know they do a lot of sweeping and hitting each other’s rocks away.
I’ve never understood the rules of football, yet that’s never made it suspenseful. GO CURLING!
