    Take their cue from Poet-Bot’s
    Syllabic pattern

  12. Joe on February 15th, 2010 10:01 pm

    Nice :)

  13. pera on February 16th, 2010 12:18 am

hey, last line has only four sylabubus! Almost a haiku?!

  14. steve on February 16th, 2010 12:46 am

@raluca : the poet bot writes awesome poems (more here: http://www.savagechickens.com/category/cartoons/poet-bot), and a haiku is a form of Japanese Poem (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Haiku)

@pera, there is the right number of syllables in that last line.

    Hehehe, that’s great stuff!

Almost makes me want to write a Haiku myself. :)

@pera: I had the same thought, but “easy” has two syllables, check out the pronunciation over at merriam-webster: \??-z?\

    :)

    Ciao!

ea-sy, right, right, i thought maybe there was a bug in poet bot?

  18. steve on February 17th, 2010 12:54 am

@pera, that would make an awesome cartoon

i like the Futurama ep with the robot Lucy Lu, and the great quote

“I’ll always remember you Fry, MEMORY DELETED!”

    : )

    Wish I thought of that!

Everybody can write something that looks like haiku, even robots. No need for robots to count syllables, that job can even every human perform.

    poet-bot is right
    writing haiku is easy
