Thus the value of the ‘pre-meeting’ appears. You can be unprepared x2.
And thus was born ‘management speak’ in an effort to fill the void left by uncomfortable silence…Sounds like every meeting I have ever attended.
Reminds me of whenever I go to meetings.
Btw, I’m waiting for a Shakespeare paraphrased cartoon!!!! XD
I wonder if that ever occurs in the classroom… you know with the teachers and students.
Teacher’s thoughts: “I forgot to make up that test!”
Student’s thoughts: “I really hope she forgot to make up that test!”
It’s possible..
Chickens’ meetings are not any better than humans’. 🙂
@Ant, what a pleasure to see plural possessives correctly used!
I like the look of your site Doug!
Thanks!
@Morbo: DOOOOOOM! Sorry, saw the name and couldn’t resist :D.
If a meeting falls apart and nobody is paying attention.. .does it make a sound?
yes, the sound of snoring. 😛
ah, yes. Exactly!!
That’s probably why they won’t let me go to meetings anymore I always have an agenda.
As long as your agenda fits with the original purpose of the meeting! Otherwise, they tell you to “take that discussion offline” as “that’s not why we are here” – which is, apparently, to sit around, stare each other and get nothing accomplished…
That couldn’t be a manager’s meeting
because I don’t see them blaming their
lack of preparation on someone else.
That would be in the next picture 🙂
@Matt: That happens, I’m a teacher 🙂 But what education and experience give – creativity and the ability to work under pressure.
The easiest way is to make up two general questions, and let the pupils answer them (make up things).
Actually, creativity is by far more important than the ability to just read.
@Doug: why aren’t they drinking from Savage Chicken mugs?
They’ll probably just have a hen party instead.
