Most are untrue, but they are also convincing!
I'm afraid that I am the chicken on the right musing: "must buy this crap, must buy this crap..."
The more transparent and unsophisticated the add, the more I seem convinced.

Wait a minute! That's dog food? Damn, I've been sprinkling Spleen-O-Bits(TM) on my spinich salads and baked potatoes...they're actually quite tasty.
I don't know about your dog, but my dog is very fond of rusty thumbtacks.
Where can I buy some Spleen-o-Bits(TM)?
My dog won't even touch Kidney-chunks(TM) or Kibbles and Bits-o-Lung(TM)...
Really great one! Because of commercials like this one, I am broke. Thank goodness my television tore up. I cannot afford one. I have a small fortune saved. Television- the ruination of mankind- oops humankind- wouldn't want to offend someone!
One more quick one- loved this one. Now I know why my dog has tried to eat all of the other dog's spleens in the neighborhood! The food has given him a taste for it! I better not try the kidney or liver. I only have one kidney, and my dog likes to sleep with me.
