Welcome
Update (August 24, 2008): Hi, just a quick note about this cartoon. Sorry about the profanity – I don’t usually swear like this on the site any more, but I like to keep this cartoon on here anyway as a little reminder of how it all began. I drew this first Savage Chickens cartoon after a particularly bad day at the office, and that’s how it all started. Sometimes hitting the wall can be a pretty good thing.

That’s me on non-cheer days! lol, everybody in the des moines area come cheer on the SEP rams October 8 at Urbandale HS. See ya @ the 50 yard line!
people who promote high school football games on a savage chicken web site should shampoo my crotch!
Shampooing your crotch seems a harsh penalty for school spirit. Now I am doubly glad I never had any!!
How many is it to date? About 628? Read them all today and am so impressed. You’re really a genius (:
yes
No se cuantas tiras vayan pero es impresionante tanto trabajo XD. Ya me baje todas a mi pc jeje.
The funny thing about this being the first one is that it will either be the first one people see (Hi), or it will be the last one (F off). For me it was the last one (went thru backwards). Nice comic. F off!
I love it!
Having just been laid off, I completely get this one!
Hi! I have officially read all of these to date and they are awesome! Do you think you could put a bit easier navigation in though please? Like “last” and “latest” buttons? I love this comic so much and it cheers me up if I have a bad day. Thank you!
Wow. It’s really amazing how your old comics were as good as the new ones, except for the drawing. Reading the entire archive was awesome.
Read it all for the 2nd time, yay!
It’s amazing to see your progression, in reverse. That being said, it’s a big accomplishment to have developed themes and characters over time, which are still visited today!
FINALLY ! I READ THEM ALL ! I must say, I never met chickens as addictive as these !
Awesome job ! I love you ! 😀 And now I’m off to bed.. ^^
Pure awesomeness!
Looking forward to your book.
Very funny stuff you’ve got here…very funny indeed…
I just read through all of these in reverse order and thought I’d comment on the first one.
The chickens ate my brain.
Which is sort of the reverse of how I usually relate to chickens.
Killer stuff. Sort of Hugh MacLeod meets Scott Adams. But totally, uniquely you.
I own a PR firm with worldwide distribution. Mind if I promote you (interview, video broadcast, press release)? Trade you for a couple cartoons?
Let me know. And thanks for the great inspiration.
ME
Just like Eric, I just now finished reading every cartoon in reverse order! w00t!

Yay, finally finished reading all your cartoons!
How has this not been on my RSS reader before now?!?
I love your work. I totally feel your pain. I bought a mini water colour set for at the office. I also do origami. And read blogs, obviously. 😛 (Don’t tell my boss.)
