I believe Marilyn Manson said this first (albeit with more profanity) in the Michael Moore movie “Bowling for Columbine.”
But it’s nice to have a “clean” version to post on my cabinet for my impressionable young students.

I read TV commercials more as, “Give us your money”, except for the public service ones, which are more like, “Stop having fun, it’ll kill you”.
