ROFLMAO! Doug, awesome mate.
: )
Now how are we gonna get this on a mug?
: )
AHHH!
Chick-roll FTW! LOL.
video is blocked. So don’t really get it
Dude, you’ve done some great ones before, obviously, but this is INSPIRED comedy! Take a bow, sir!
Yee gods! Rickrolled by a Post-it!
I love it ๐
For some reason, a series of songs kept running in my mind as I read this.
A song inspired cartoon…love it!
OH NO!! We’ve been Rick Rolled!!!
….or should I say Chicken-rolled….
I can’t open the youtube video where I live due to copyright laws. What song is it?
OMG, brilliant! :))
on my very small screen, i only saw the top panels which made no sense. upon scrolling down, i took that bait hook, line and sinker.
that needs to be a t-shirt immediately.
This may be one of my favorite Chickens ever.
And Steve, it could go on one of those tall, insulated cups!
I love the desert one!
Rick Astley! Woot! Little man with the big voice…this really put a smile on my face! I hope you do more of these!
Well Mr. Savage….you’re the first person to rick roll me. Congratulations.
Ohhhh, good times. Thanks for this Doug!
This SCREAMS “t-shirt”!
Ah Yes! JS!!!
Chick-roll FTW indeed!!
This absolutely screams to be made into a t-shirt!
Love the link between frames 7 & 8.
gee, i always thought it was “dessert you” ..!
Wow! The first ever Post-It Note RickRoll!! Doug, you are a genius!!!
I second the call for a coffee mug of this one, or maybe even 8 mugs (one for each Never Gonna).
I didn’t know that Rick Astley made a track called “This video contains content from Vevo, who has blocked it in your country on copyright grounds.” – you learn something new every day… ๐
Classic!
Very clever!!
Dangnab!!! That’s funny!!!!
AHAHAHA! LOVE IT!! Amazing…wow
I must say this is my most favorite one yet! Good work!
“Rickrolled” by a chicken!!!!
I compliment you on your ingenuity, sir.
As I was looking, I was thinking “what IS this…” but the pull-together at the end is hilarious. The way you come up with this stuff, it fills me with awe… and fear for your longterm mental stability ๐
Holy cow, Doug. This is EPIC!
Love it! Although this song will likely be popping into my head all day. ๐
I can’t believe Doug just Rick Roll’d us – all of us. And in cartoon form, it took even longer to realize what was happening.
steve – Jumbo Mug!
Brilliant! You’ve outdone yourself. Bravo! Author! Author!
That’s *insert spectacular compliment here*!
Perfect, that the image is a link too!
&=^
Aaawwww!!! I love it. If only some guys would follow the chicken’s example. lol. :0)
This is great!
I smell a future T-Shirt design with this on it.
Thanks for the laugh.
Awesome!
I saw the squares, and knew there would be an explanation at the bottom, so I carefully did NOT scroll that far, trying to figure it out.
But I couldn’t crack the code.
Definitely made me laugh when I finally read it.

If this doesn’t deserve a standing ovation, I don’t know what does. Awesome!
What does Rick Astley have to say about that?
MUG, MUG, MUG, and t-shirt, please! I would wear this with pride and continue to Rick Roll the remainder of the “non-rolled” population.
Aaaarrrgghhhh! That song was horrible. Never heard it before and I hope to never hear it again. Loved the comic though.
Rickrolled by a bunch of chickens. GAH!
(Nice one, dude.)
@#2: Simple: a TALL mug! All-day Kaf-Pow.
Dayum. Rickrolled by chickens. So not fair. ๐
Unfortunately the link isn’t available in th UK so I have no idea what it’s based on ๐
cREeepy. I just dusted off my “Club Mix the 80s” CD and put it on my iPod. So when I saw the title of today’s comic, I thought, “Could it be???”
This is absolutely the best rendition of this song I have ever seen!
Wow thanks for all the great comments today! And thanks to everybody who passed this one around and shared it with friends.
For those who can’t see the video, just do a search for “Never Gonna Give You Up” by Rick Astley. And prepare yourself for musical greatness!
stupid song now rolling around in my head…next comic needs to be about how to get Rick out of head. Why can’t I remember the periodic table or the planets (verdi?) this easily. I’d even take a foreign language rather than this “music”. Dam you Doug! No, I love your work too much, really. Musical greatness barf – how about reintroducing Milli Vanili?
This took a bit of working out but once I remembered the Rick Astley lyrics (and sadly I *did* remember them) this was the funniest thing ever.
Thanks Doug!
Doug, that’s probably the most awesome cartoon ever.
Truly one of the funniest, ever.
I 10th (?) the calls for tee-shirts and mugs!
I also think you need to do more comics on the 2 7/8 x 4 7/8 sticky notes…
Fabulous. Thanks for the giggles.
Oh, the songs rolling around in my head now that you could spoof. Spectacular comic! It got everyone in the livingroom laughing. We all love you Doug! Keep it up!
I love being rickrolled. I thought the first panel adoptee should have been more fuzzy chicklike, or maybe an egg if you can’t draw chicks.
Pure genius! Thanks for the laughs.
Super fantasical!
This MUST go on a T-Shirt, Doug. I will buy–maybe even MORE THAN ONE so I can Rick Roll the peeps for Christmas!
While Astley remains Ghastly, you sir have done the extraordinary: something NEW with an Internet meme.
At first glance, I had not noticed numbers in the panels, so I thought I should connect them, dots style. ๐ Great one, dude, you must use it on a shirt. ๐
Itโs confusing that the descriptions of the panels on the bottom go top-to-bottom and then left-to-right, whereas the panels themselves go left-to-right and then top-to-bottom. At first I thought description 5 was about panel 2, because of its placement. You should have laid them out the same way.
