Brilliant. Very clever, as always.
The spiders eight legs.
Oh, you are so clever. Do you hold a university degree?
no, it’s up on his wall, he doesn’t need to hold it
Nice. Made me laugh out loud.
yeah, stupid troll…
I’d hate to hear him laugh not-out-loud.
Rofl Troll got owned
I love you.
i cant believe this this is no lie your name is the same as my real name except but 1 a
Hi Mirand, nice job on spotting the eight differences between the two pictures and starting a hilarious comment thread.
damn it! i looked for ages! grrr….
๐
yep…so did I. But I laughed out loud when I realized it…
Me too… But let’s not assume that all Steves’ are easily fooled. lol
I can’t figure this one out…
Can’t get it either
Try when you’re high…
Yup…Pretty hard when your high.
At first I only saw the “one”…VERY clever (and cute) puzzle play, Doug.
hehehe This one reminded me of the one with the cat chasing a bit of dust… I suppose, for the cat, there is no difference ๐
Oh and I found them, very tricky!
HAHAHAHHA! this is brilliant!!! i LOVE it! u just made me laugh out loud in my quiet office.
hehe lovely ๐
it reminded me a bit on a David Thorne story with his seven legged spider ๐
Please tell the whole story.
It’s rude just to tell the start.

Thanks for sharing the link and story it was well worth the price.
Oooh, took a couple of seconds. ๐
Sneaky punk!
hahahahhaha. Amazing !!! i laught a lot..
Doug reeaaalllly doesn’t like spiders. This is good!
It’s true. Maybe if I keep drawing them, it’ll work like systematic desensitization and I’ll cure my own arachnophobia!
O__O Spider’s legs pulled out..
eeeeek!! XP
makes me wonder what’s creepier.. a spider with a complete set of legs or one whose legs have been pulled out..
Fell for it! Took me a couple minutes to ‘see’ the 8 differences. Very funny.
Doug, this one caused serious brain damage… Before checking the new strip I had doubts whether I can do any work in my remaining 3 hours until the weekend.
Now there is just no chance at all ๐
PS: Next time please post these on Monday mornings to give some time to recover ๐
This reminded me of Bob Ross. We need more happy little trees.
“Spot”. Very funny!
did the chicken eat those skinny drumsticks?
Hilarious!!
Smart! Nice one Doug, as always ๐
Great one! I was giggling before I could even scroll down and see the second panel!
BWAHAHAHAHA I figured it out after a few minutes; just absolutely brilliant! I can’t wait to show it to my friends!
HAHAHAHHA, pior que eu fiquei procurando os outros erros…
Clever… very clever indeed. ๐
I saw it right away. Too bad it wasn’t a cockroach. I would have cheered rather than laughed. I hate cockroaches. Spiders think they’re tasty.
I see what you did there.
Then, my friend, you just won a internet.
when you pop up as updated on inkoutbreak it makes my day, easily one of the best comics i have marked as a favorite. Ordering a mug on pay day!
hahah ahh ahhahah hah ahh aha hah aha hah ahh a!
Oh, I love you Doug Savage. Every day. Thank you.
Gosh I wondered how many people would spend more than a tenth of a second on this, and judging by the number of comments, quite a few!
Brilliant!!
Oh I get it….only took me like 20 secs to though. Used to love these things as a kid.
i spotted 9 differences
I think you’re trolling!
How was this done though? My guess: draw the cartoon on one piece, then trace it twice onto another post-it note (leaving out the spider legs)?
(Because copy-pasting digitally would be cheating! Right? ๐ )
Yes it’s true – I rarely manipulate the cartoons digitally – but this time I did, because I wanted the images to be (almost) exactly the same. I didn’t want anybody seeing any differences that weren’t meant to be there! ๐
Makes sense. ๐ I did also visually track out the variation in the lines framing the pictures, and thought “no that’s just *too* perfect!” ๐
i get it!
I think this is my favorite ever!
Tumblr is loving this. 2,000 notes and climbing.
Nice! ๐
Brilliant. I took me a while to figure it out … the spider (that’s one)…. ummmm ..
*30 seconds later … D’oh!
lol!!!! very funny ๐
I could only spot 7. ๐
Ghaaaaaaaad! Where’s the answer?
That was very sneaky
I subscribe to this website via my phone, and as I was checking it, I found this: http://www.g4tv.com/attackoftheshow/blog/post/713992/can-you-spot-the-differences/
What a smartypants!
Oh God I looked forever, and now I feel stupid; for one cause some idiot was trying to spoil the surprise and I could have just scrolled down, and for two because I can’t count ๐ haha
This is so smart! I never got it until I realized that spiders have EIGHT legs.
You can quickly solve almost any differences picture by crossing your eyes a little until the pictures overlap. I came up with that myself.
LOL i noticed the differences right away ๐ i feel so special… ๐
Smile, because our happiness is all we’ll have left when everything else leaves. ๐
ha, i was like “one…..one….one…..OH!”
Arrgh! You got me. XD Then again, it’s morning and I haven’t had coffee yet… *grumble* No, really well done.
Why do you have to make it so hard???
I saw it immediately — but I’m not hatin’ on anyone who didn’t, ’cause everybody’s brain works a little differently, and that’s good for humanity as a whole.
I choose to believe that the spider’s legs were not “pulled out” — some spiders are capable of rolling themselves up in a little ball, and I choose to believe that this spider is still just fine …
… if the chicken doesn’t eat it.
P.S. By the way, Doug Savage … you make a living doing this?
Not quite! I still have a day job, but I’m getting there!
I used to have trouble imagining that I’d ever be able to become a full-time cartoonist, but now it feels more like an eventual reality!
Awesome! Go for it!
I found the spider right off the bat. After a while I called my mom in to help. It took her a couple of seconds, but she figured it out. Great idea! lol
it took me two seconds to figure this out but it made me laugh, too funny
nice try, but i got it in the first five seconds. clever but you must take lessons if you will be a true troll, grasshopper.
I was like one(the spider)…One…one…ok what the heck…Jazmine(big sis) do you see eight differences?…Jazmine:dude…spiders have eight legs!Me:Ooooooh i get it!!! LOL
i was trolled.
Someone had one too many baked goods.
Hahaha…I didnt get it til I read the comments…I cheated:]…but thats pretty clever:]
I thought that the copyright was a difference too…. haha.
๐ hahahah very funny
I saw it right away. Too bad it wasnโt a cockroach. I would have cheered rather than laughed. I hate cockroaches.
omg this took me forever to figure out! haha love it!
easy
what?it’s a joke?
Love this one!! Looked at the top panel – looked at the second. Took a good look at the leg-less “spider” and thought for a one second, two seconds – then nearly smacked on myself on the forehead when I remember ‘oh-yeah, spiders have 8 LEGS!’
The spider has had its legs et off
Spider Transformer, transform himself to a little ROCK ๐
You know, I once saw a 12 year old girl in a game show answerin’ spiders have 6 legs. I was sooo jealous, in that “I wanna live where she lives if she’s seen that few spiders in a dozen years” -way.
This took me weeks. And i find out its the spider? this is a STUPID puzzle.
Naaaah jokes;)
but its true.
I just love Doug! <3
Extremely clever!
OOOOOOOOOHHH.
Can I have this as a T-shirt please!!!!! ๐
Oh, that’s so meeeeeeeeeaan!! Awesome!
Is this photoshopped?
it IS pretty obvious, isn’t it?
You all have it wrong. The spider is actually not part of the upper picture, he is a real spider. He just happens to have a black body the same size as the black spot he is sitting on.
The real 8 differences are that every eigth portion of the lower picture is further away from the top of the page than the upper picture.
Ha! That’s brilliant.
I think it’s the spider and the chicken is more shocked in the second picture
Haha very funny! The spider’s eight legs.:p took me 2 seconds to spot it
my favorite!
I just glanced at the title, recognizing it as a “spot the differences” puzzle. Took me a while to notice the title asks us to find a very specific number of changes. Lesson: reading is important!
Too funny! I love it ๐
Good one,Doug!
