Aww, poor tree. Literally, it’s life’s blood is being sapped from it. And then we eat it on pancakes. I feel like a tree vampire now. ๐Ÿ™

For the record, this cartoon is not intended as a serious comment about the maple syrup production process. Or about anything else for that matter! ๐Ÿ™‚ I meant it only as an absurd take on a standard sci-fi plotline. Like The Matrix, but with maple trees. Plus a bit of Alien Resurrection thrown in for good measure!

  16. Wildbird says:

A maple syrup alien comes bursting from the tree and scares the deer

  17. Jeremy says:

Turns out sap has nothing to do with sappers.

  18. Aud says:

    Poor maple goodness!!
    OUI…Entwives and explosions=Exploding Entwives!

  19. kristina says:

I obviously need glasses – I thought the deer was a kangaroo at first, and I was wondering what he was doing in Canada, lurking through the maple trees! ๐Ÿ˜‰
