Congrats on the comic-con invitation!!! You’re awesome!

  6. Ant says:

    4D? I can’t even see 3D with my compound eyes. ๐Ÿ™

  7. Finn Labret says:

That would be a fantastic invention! Better than 3D or anything else!

  8. Odalie says:

Doug, very excited for you appearing at the San Diego Comic Convention. Hey, no surprise to me! HA!
4-d is just another example of your creative genius. I would love to see Savage Chickens in my local newspaper!
Genius (plural geniuses[1][2]) is something or someone embodying exceptional intellectual ability, creativity, or originality, typically to a degree that is associated with the achievement of unprecedented insight.

I don’t know what you are talking about!! Both movies listed in the cartoon sound fabulous!!! Dragon w/ a chicken tattoo? Love it! Sherlock Holmes- Game of Chicken? Classic!! I hope it’s Robert Downey Jr and Jude Law! No asking for money back here!!!!

Two outstanding laughers in a row! (That will teach me to miss a couple of days, I almost died)!

Picking myself up off the floor, and reminding you of the topic for your next book … (cartoons inspired by movies & TV)

  12. Jackson says:

    BTW,

How are you going to get those long, long long strips into a book???

    • Doug says:

Hmmm good question. The gigantic cartoons definitely lend themselves to online presentation. If I end up releasing a book that includes some of my extra-big cartoons, I might have to re-draw them over multiple pages. Or make it a really really tall book?

      • BarefootMedia says:

Just a thought, but have you considered fold-outs, er, fold-ups (fold-downs)? Imagine the impact!

(I’m hoping for a position as a marketing chicken. Could you put in a good word for me?)

  13. Wildbird says:

4-D will soon go the way of Smellovision

  14. Vanessa says:

    but would you believe yourself???

  15. Myra says:

    Hey Doug!

Hilariously enough, “4D” actually does exist internationally, I just think we call it something different here. Overseas, the seats will literally move around and various props are set up all over the theater so that if (for example) mice were to go scampering across on the screen, you’d actually feel something brush against your leg. It’s pretty cool! I’m sure they have it here, they just call it plain ol’ “3D”. ๐Ÿ˜› Abroad it’s totally 4D though! Love Savage Chickens and congrats on Comic-con!

  16. Kathleen says:

I’ll take my Delorean to a drive in movie

  17. Jonathan says:

I wish this had been around the night I watched Never Say Never Again and somehow thought it was Thunderball.
