Ha! Yeah I actually drew a beret on one of the chickens in an earlier draft but took it out for some reason. Maybe I figured there’d only be tourists at the Eiffel Tower? 🙂

In a still from the original classic GEORGE PAL version of WAR OF THE WORLDS it shows the eiffel tower falling over at the end it shows the toppled tower with a martian ship lying nearby with its pilot dead or dying
