did it really take 6 million dollars to rebuild him?
🙂
As a US Govt project, 6M was the initial grant, there were 5 years of options at 2M/year following, 20 contractors and 110 subcontractors. Total cost to produce one bionic slug: $3.8 trillion with a yearly upkeep of $22 billion.
For him it was probably $6.50 (that’s six dollars & fifty cents)
Awesome!
Better! Stronger! Faster!
Is his name Steve?
oooh, that’s gonna leave a mark!
I remember those scenes! Every second she would have been faster, she would spend in dramatic footage waiting for the effect of her bionic enhancements to kick in!
How do you know it’s a male, Steve?
That six million dollars to rebuild him was in 1974 dollars, 2012 600 billion dollars. and the little bit extra was so that he could remove tire studs at NASCAR speeds
Faster then a buricrat in fact a regular slug is faster
What’s so great about being on the right-hand side of the panel, I wonder? 🙂
So fast!
So does he still leave a slime trail? Or an oil trail?
We have the technology.
I saw this TV show mentioning being bionic!
