Ha! I popped home for lunch yesterday and found “Soylent Green” on TCM. Just what you want to watch while eating roast beef!
I thought it was hiliarious when I saw the crowdfunding campaign for a product called “Soylent” intended to be an inexpensive substitute for traditional food, and apparently a great substitute for a good product name. ;P Even more surprising, they had a 30 day window with a goal of $100k and raised $1mil. I guess there’s a lot of folks eager to eat something that sounds like it’s made of people.
