Too freaky!!
😉
I always thought it’s pretty silly that he has to specify that he wants his tea hot. It’s tea! I suppose he has to specify that he wants his chicken cooked, too.
There’s Iced Tea.
Also, they have specified the temperature of a glass of water, perhaps he had specified that when he orders hot tea it is of a certain temperature.
Or maybe we’re just WAAAAAY overanalyzing?
Maybe tea is served lukewarm in the future? If so, the replicator default setting would be lukewarm and Picard would need to specify “Hot” in order to override the default.
That’s my theory: a crazy future society that drinks tepid tea! 🙂
You would think that the computer would remember his preferences, and that saying “tea” would suffice.
If it was a mirror universe, wouldn’t he be drinking iced coffee?
Through the looking glass, a look on the other side.
If it was a mirror universe wouldn’t he also have hair and no goatee?
There is no goat tea.
Mirror universe order tea cold and get it hot
Only if the replicator also has a beard.
