   Didn’t really read Prod3000’s remark in panel 1 before … it is logically equivalent to, “If I don’t need that report on my desk today, then you’re fired.” (Where we still don’t know whether he/it means that a certain report must be on his desk today, or whether there is some reoprt on his desk today that he needs, or some report on his desk that he needs today.)
