Isn’t it a shame how long it takes to cover even an average solar system with mobile net access
No way, you’d get great reception: you have line of sight with every cell tower in the hemisphere… That 4 second minimum latency would be annoying as help though.
“annoying as help”? Having had too much to do with service lines lately, haven’t you?
I was curious, so I looked it up. The general consensus seems to be that a phone wouldn’t be a powerful enough transmitter to communicate over that distance even with a line of sight.
Maybe if you had a massive repeater…
