Shish Kebab
If you follow me on Instagram, you’ll know that I’m visiting my family in Ontario. So this week I’ll be doing another series of “road comics” – photographed instead of scanned – and this time, I’ll be sharing Savage Family Moments like this one. Hope you like them! 🙂

Welcome to Ontario! I’m in Huntsville, 3 hours north of Toronto. We are still trying
to get Spring organized…..so I hope you brought a warm jacket. I guess it would be too much to hope that you had pirate relatives whom you might be « reminiscing «Â
about…..enjoy your visit!
That was nice. I liked it! Your daily cartoons are my laugh of the day, but sweet works too!
Sweet. 😀
What does mine say?
Shish Kebab!
“Shish Kebab” has the same first three letters as another, more common exclamation. With appropriate emphasis on the “Shish” you can get the idea across.
For what it’s worth, in Quebec, the young says “shish taouk” nowadays, as a gentle swear word. Back full loop !
Shiver me timbers?
You’re not scanning the stickies this week? Shish kebab! 🙂 Enjoy your trip!

Grandma loved saying flubadub which I think was a positive f word substitute she would say to my grandfather would try to correct, cajole, or copulate.
This reminds me of your grandpa who never told his war stories.
