I had to hastily throw together and photograph today’s comic, because I really did go to Emergency! I wasn’t going to let a hospital visit stop me from posting a cartoon – I wrote this while sitting in the waiting room.
(Don’t worry, I’m fine. I woke up with a pain in my stomach, went straight to the hospital, got a barrage of tests, and it turned out to be something nicely non-life-threatening. Now I’m back home with a handful of helpful drugs.)

Thanks! 🙂 Thankfully, I only had to wait an hour before they started doing bloodwork and stuff. And then there was more waiting for tests and waiting for results and so on. But the hospital staff were great. I expected more pandemic-related chaos!

Glad you’re OK. That happened to me a few years ago…thought it was a heart attack but it was GERD causing esophageal spasms. Take care.

Glad you’re ok Doug! It must be a relief knowing it’s nothing serious. Wondering what a pain/ailment could be is torturous.
