   Hiya Doug – I sent you a note a couple weeks ago bemoaning that politics had crept into your comics, which have otherwise been a safe haven of silliness.

   regarding today’s comic: Middle Ground…yeah. You nailed it.

   I’m looking forward to a time when we are not so overwhelmed by awful and evil.

   Thanks for bringing funny and silly to my day – and for occasionally reminding us that sometimes we need to pause the silliness and look at what’s going on.

   stay safe. wear a mask. wash your hands. be well 🙂

   and above all, remember: let a man sit by your fire and he’ll be warm for the evening. Set a man on fire and he’s warm for the rest of his life.
