WELLL, as the shrewd saying goes: ‘hills may give you thrills, but flat is where it’s at’.
I was in the desert early May for a few days. It has its own beauty, but I suspect it’s hard to appreciate since many are used to living in monotone cities. It may be that I prefer hiking in trees and forests simply because they’re different colors than the daily grind.
