   That works for about a year. Then revenue starts dropping, because quality has dropped and so have the customers.

   Sadly, this is the first “approach” when a company needs to boost their “earnings” and stock prices. Even though it doesn’t work in the long run, what’s most important is just the next quarter’s report. 🙁
