We always figured that the true “surveillance state” could never happen because you could never assemble enough manpower to watch every person all the time; you need 100 people to watch 100 people, and then another 100 people to watch the 100 people watching the initial 100 people, and so on. Eventually, everyone is watching someone and no one is keeping civilization running.
But if you’ve got an AI to do the watching?
You do realize the binary is like the prime Nerd Trigger (TM) and causes the triggered to look for secret messages encoded in the bits? 😀
