    To write a haiku,
    Five syllables then seven,
    Then there are five more

Poetry related poetry? Isn’t that like using someone else’s easy button to find your easy button?

Though a chicken may write a nice hymn,
That one’s financial future is grim
It will not pay the money
    To keep him disposed sunny
If his money were a light, t’would be dim.

Well at least the chicken is honest, not all this “i need to express human emotion” rubbish.

Poets only get paid chicken feed anyway. Don’t know what’s wrong with that…

I would bet less than 1 out of a thousand poets can even feed themselves by writing alone.

The world is not exactly crying out for poets. That’s what makes it a cartoon! That’s the joke.

It’s like saying you’re going to walk the streets picking up aluminum cans for the money.
