OMG! I have always felt Luke was such a whiner! Thanks for agreeing with a great cartoon! May the force be with you!

    The boy has no patience.

Maybe, but he comes by it naturally. Maybe the point of the more recent (but earlier) movies was to show that whininess is inherited.

Luke, a whiner? That’s not true!! That’s IMPOSSIBLE!! NOOOOOO!! NoooOOOOOoooo!!!

    … Sorry, I couldn’t resist the temptation.

    like i always say:
    winning through whining.
    it works.

To be fair, Anakin was a much bigger whiner.

“But I was going in to Toschi station to pick up some power converters.”

    @ Dinana:
    Yes. Yes, you are.
The differences in Mark Hamill’s and Harrison Ford’s careers illuminate that quite nicely.

It’s not just the acting. It’s also that Han was a tougher, smarter and more likable character, although he tailed off after The Empire Strikes Back. Han was at his best when he was an outlaw - BANG! “Sorry about the mess.” Luke just didn’t have as dynamic a character and I mean dynamic in the English sense, not dynamic as a positive buzzword. Han did more things (Jedi training aside) than Luke.

I don’t hate Luke, I just didn’t like him that much.

PS The ‘freezing’ look in the first panel is the best thing ever, along with the Yoda drawings, especially the peeved Yoda in the third frame.

Poor Luke, all he ever wanted to do was go to Tosche Station and pick up some power converters…

HA! I love these spoofs (and me being a…spekkie..??) XD
@MnM: OH, YES (most obvious in Ep. 2).

Ahahha, that’s brilliant; I’ve always thought Luke was too whiney. Love your cartoons!
