Oh, come on! The world is getting obviously better, especially if you take an international perspective.
You can add "Savage Chickens" to that right hand column.
Um... the economy? It should be on the worse list, and the chicken's probably going to pay $4 a cup.
Tagged "Optimism"??? WTF?
Doug if I wasn't already at work, I'd take one look at this comic and pull the covers back over my head. I guess since I can't change any of these things, I'll have to settle for a Frappucino? And tell me you didn't forget Terrorism (or Paranoia about Terrorism)...but I guess there's only so much space on a sticky.
under pros you can add:
chickens and other cool things available via the web.
Two brief comments; first, terrorism (or war) is a form of political activism, a criminal form of activism. So it's on the list twice.
Secondly, I'm thinking we have a chicken that owns stock in Starbuck's. Or we'd have a couple more good things.
We all need our places of

to love, to cry, to cluck.
Horray! That means by sitting around and griping all day at the Cup-O-Joe, I really am working for world good. Time to get out my black turtle-neck sweater and shades. Again.
Also on the 'better' side should be:
There are more chickens on earth than humans.
"Poverty" is actually getting better, though, isn't it? Fewer people are in poverty today than yesterday. Or that's what I thought...
