Not to be a rock-poaching meathead, but how exactly does a rock *hide itself?* is this some kind of Zen riddle?

Sad but true, how many young rocklings have been separated from their loving parents only to end up on some dusty shelf, alone and forgotten. Remember, rocks have feelings too! 🙂

I have a rock on my desk,
    smooth and round, i abuse
it with my thumb, blow moist
air in its face and whisper
to it things I can’t say to
others when they make me mad.
I call it my ‘worry stone’

Doug, thanks for my daily chuckle.
When are we going to get a Savage Chickens compendium book?
I mean, you should be syndicated in newspapers across the country and everyone should be talking Savage Chickens!
Seriously, I want a Savage Chickens book!

Aha! That explains why whenever I see rocks in the wild the stay perfectly still and try to “blend in” with the scenery.

  6. Dennis J says:

Yes, rocks have feelings! They feel kind of … hard. And in the winter they feel cold. In the sun they feel warm. When it rains they feel wet! And when it’s windy, it just blows!

A cartoon just for me? I feel all tingly! Awww, thanks Doug. And thanks for educating us – I always wondered where pet rocks came from!
