    So true…it makes me sad.

Common attitude. I prefer to think that reality is provoking my creativity.

Always good to get a little Savage Chickens on a Monday morning.

    Keep creating…in spite of reality,

I reject your reality and replace it with one of my own! to quote a T-shirt on “Mythbusters.”

  8. Luwano says:

Actually you could define a number gloog. You could define anything. That’s maths!

But it ain’t creative anyway. Believe me, I’m studying maths.

  9. Peatick says:

Actually, gloog is a googol minus e, so that would be 100 9s followed by 7.29. A googol is 1 followed by 100 zeroes, and e is a mathematical value of about 2.17. Subtract the two and there you go.

I think that our young chickens should be taught the controversy and be able to choose for themselves whether gloog is or is not a number. Certainly, the theory of Algebra should be taught as a theory and not as any objective reality.

“Gloog” may or may not be a number… imaginary or real… but it IS a very, very, potent and deadly swedish holiday drink (spelled ‘glogg’ but pronounced ‘gloog’).

My family makes it every year for Christmas. 2 cups, and you aren’t allowed to drive.
