i’m even more confused now. A skip in the UK is something that builders use for rubbish.
@steve: Actually, a garbage can would be very fitting for curling, then, since they already use brooms and tea kettles.
@steve: Makes sense to me! Weeee, Curling!
Curling is an aptly named sport. It’s so darned exciting, it makes one’s hair curl!
I do hope they capture the “snitch,” and he “rats out” the crooked Olympic officials.
Someone’s gotten confused with their team Canada and Team Harry Potter.
That one’s a beauty!
I love doing that to people! >:^D
Well, *I* understood the joke at least! And LMAO! 😀
Of course! But what are the rules of curling?
c eh n eh d eh whateh beautiful country eh, pristine well swept ice patches everywhere you slip eh.
Well, if you’re going to go on a curling cartoon bender, how about one involving the Norway mens’ curling pants? How good they look is debatable… but on a chicken, I mean, how can you lose?
I went looking for those “curling” pants, and found a lot of expensive (one hundred dollars!) pants which looked like Dockers™. Looking further, I did find, for those interested, the real thing: Check out http://seattletimes.com/html/talkofthegames/2011107486__since_im_the_seattle.html. They do not look as bad as I had feared they would. I like his description, “red, white, and blue argyle pants.”
These would be stunning on a chicken, all right, but the comics’ black-and-yellow color scheme might make the color-reproduction process difficult. 🙂
You know you’re Canadian when you’re on the edge of your seat watching curling AND you understand what’s going on despite never actually having played the game! (Wii doesn’t count!)
Curling on the ice FUN & GAMES
@ steve: If you are confused, skip is short for skipper.
the golden snitch! lmao!
I live in Canada and still don’t get curling.
Curling has rules??????
Curling has rules?

The womens German curling team is insane. They were screaming war crys and freaking out when they lost to Canada. It was pretty wild
I refuse to understand the rules. We canadians are so lame
I met my husband in a skip… but it had nothing to do with curling!
i throw rocks at houses
Curling is exciting! It makes my toes curl just thinking about getting hit in the shin with one of those stones!
