I did this — I’m relieved I’m not the only one 😛
i was working at the time, here in the UK, it was not a good hour for me!
: (
Of course, the downside of DST, especially for countries that don’t use it (like Trinidad) is that now I get my automatic emails, such as ones from Savage Chickens, a whole hour later. That sucks! 🙁
And what else would anyone over the age of 30 do with an extra hour of time? DUH!!!
I delighted in watching McSlow’s cairo clock on my desktop _JUST_ in time to see that the minutes hand goes out of synch at the singular point of time discontinuity: it got stuck before the 12hr mark for just about 20 seconds before advancing in normal fashion
I considered reporting it as a bug. Don’t know what kind of reputation that would give me, though.
ah, yes, the right decision
Technically, it was daylight savings time till you set the clocks back, now it’s standard time.
If only the small child would appreciate the extra hour of sleep and let us have it too… Nope! Still woke up at 6 am on Sunday (5 am ugh!).
Yes, it’s now Eastern Standard Time (or for those in the military we’ve gone from Romeo back to Quebec Time.)
Another hour of Timmy’s Tofutti nightmares.
Love the new cover of the book, looks pretty much like corporate america’s cubicle system.
Idea:
Does the chicken ever wonder how much time they spend in the elevator just getting to THE work floor? For example, there are 5 floors in our building, it’s small by many office standards, but when you have to stop on each floor and let off the “chickens” I almost feel like I could take a 10 minute nap in the elevator just getting to the 5th floor in the morning. When i looked through the survival kit for life in the coop, the only thing that’s missing is that elevator ride.
Oh, one other idea. Christopher Eccleston refers to him as a “us Chickens” in an episode of Doctor Who…I wondered if you could work that in somewhere.
Back to the grind 🙂
What else is a person supposed to do with an extra hour on Sunday than to show up to work an hour late on Monday and say that he got screwed up because of the time change.
Ahhhhhh…I love it, too. Too bad that extra hour only lasts an hour.
@Jeanne omigosh, if Doug does a Doctor Who cartoon, I can die happy.
“…and I know exactly how I’m going to spend that extra hour!”
“More sleep.”
LOL 😀
