    I vacillate between:

“people can be so amazingly kind and generous to others they do not even know” (donate money to complete strangers because their daughter has cancer and will be in treatment for at least a year, in a hospital far away from their home)

to: “people suck” (pick anything – cut you off in traffic, just about run you over as they push past you in a store, beat up and old lady to get her purse, and the list goes on…)

Wouldn’t be surprised if that’s the same thing all those chickens were thinking…as they clenched their cloacae (bird butt cheeks).

Rode the bus today for the first time in years (by necessity not choice) and lack of interaction wasn’t the problem. It was the slightly crazy old woman who insisted on chatting to me about her illnesses for the 30 minute journey. I attract nutters.

  6. Raquel says:

better to be ignored than to be stared at… lol

  7. Amy says:

I recently ditched my public transit commute for driving in my car alone. This cartoon sums up my feeling about that perfectly.

  8. jay says:

It seems like whenever I travel by bus, it’s not “BRAAAP” so much as “FAAAART”.

    (And NO, it wasn’t ME!)

  9. willwot says:

I suppose one day I will meet an Abraham Lincoln on the mass transit of whose fine oratory skills will hold me entranced, but it will be more likely that I am just about to pass out from holding my breath from the BRAPFART that just happened.

  10. willwot says:

    see chicken falling asleep.

  11. Jackson says:

I’d show this to my wife, but she’d laugh too loud …

  12. Capt. Obvious says:

I don’t do public transport very often, since I live in the sticks it’s just not an option.
But I do like how the 3×5 stickies are long enough that you can’t immediately see the punchline and have to scroll for it. It really adds something you haven’t had before, Doug.

  13. Matt says:

Thats what I call human interaction! I really liked this comic 🙂 Great work Doug

  14. Mary, Sandy Hook, CT says:

Funny! The chicken on the far right is falling asleep (passing out?) and all of a sudden that chicken burps! I guess the chicken thinking about human interaction no longer wanted that human interaction?
